I started selling photograph prints around 2009, from around 2000/2001 when I started shooting until then I always got emails asking for prints and never sold any. I’ve decided to go back in the archives and start adding photographs that I call my classic series. These were some of my earliest photographs and also some of the first ones to get attention and be seen on the internet. I will be adding random shots throughout the Fall/Winter in the series, but I had to start with this one…
For whatever reason, I have got more emails in the past 12 years about this photograph than any other asking for me to sell prints. It’s not one of my favorites but does have deep sentimental meaning to me and was literally shot the first month I ever had a real camera. I thought I had lost the negatives years ago for it but found it this month. It was shot in 2001 in Birmingham’s Northside, so for the first time ever…
